Grand River Academy Of Dance

Dance Starts IN STUDIO January 31st 2022!

Welcome Back!  We are excited to get back to the studio and see all our amazing dancers (and parents at drop off/pick up). We really appreciate everyone’s patience as we navigate this ever changing world. We couldn’t do this without all of your support! Thank you very much!

I sincerely hope this is the last of these lockdowns and my staff and I are ready to get back in studio and back to what we love!

Here’s a few important updates as we get back to it.

Updated Covid Protocols

With the Province’s recent updates to isolation rules, testing and general approach to the pandemic we have had to revise our policies. Please take a moment to review the information below.

Vaccine Update:

As mandated by the Province, dancers 12+ now require proof of vaccine to take part in dance at the studio. Similarly, all staff, assistants, and volunteers are required to be vaccinated.

Additionally, dancers 12+ (and people coming to the studio) will need to have their QR code available.

Please take the time to download this for yourself and your dancer and save to your phone or print to have handy. You can obtain your QR Code Here

This will be an adjustment for us. We ask for your patience while we get into a flow of scanning each dancer who is 12 or older prior to entry.  Proof of Vaccine needs to be available at all times when the dancer is in the studio.

***PLEASE NOTE*** The first day your child comes with their proof of vaccine – please stay nearby till we confirm that it is valid.  An invalid QR code will result in the dancer being sent home and not being permitted to enter the studio.

Daily Pre-Screen

Is now even more important as the schools won’t be providing potential close contact info that we remain diligent in staying away if we are feeling unwell.

We are still asking that you be diligent about completing our pre-screen prior to your child attending class that day.

If you forget, a QR Code is on our door for you to do so prior to entry.

Here is the link to our pre-screen form.  Please save it.

If your dancer doesn’t pass the screening they need to stay home. Additionally, siblings aren’t to come in.

Isolating Due to Symptoms or Potential Close Contact

Contact Tracing

Public Heath is no longer contacting close contacts in businesses.

We have been advised that we don’t need to provide contact tracing information, so for the safety of our dancers, staff and broader dance community please keep your child home from dance if they are sick.  Even if it’s not Covid.

Your help with this is greatly appreciated.

Please let us know if you have any questions.
